A quick chat with a senior drafter at a supply house changed how I handle revisions

I was picking up some new leads in Portland last week and got talking to this older guy at the counter. He saw my revision notes on a set of prints and said, 'You know, I always mark my first revision in red, second in blue, third in green... keeps the chaos straight.' I've been doing it for a month now on a big warehouse project, and it's saved me so much time untangling my own notes. I don't know why I never thought of a simple color system before. What other little tricks do you all use to keep revision notes clean?

Nice, that color system is solid. I also date every single note in the corner, @diana155, so the sticky flags don't get mixed up later.

Color coding is a lifesaver, I use sticky flags too.
