Why does nobody talk about the weird way a 3D printer sounds when it's printing a perfect first layer?

I was printing a simple bracket yesterday and the printer made this low hum for the whole first layer, which was super smooth. I've only heard that exact sound maybe twice before, and both times the print came out great. It's like the machine is just happy when everything is lined up right. Has anyone else noticed a specific sound that means a print is going well?

Noticed that low hum too on my old Ender 3. For me, it happens when the bed level is just right and the flow is dialed in perfectly. The sound is smoother, like the steppers aren't fighting anything. I've come to trust that quiet, even buzz as a good sign.

Totally get that. It's like the motors are just humming along with no strain. I swear you can hear the difference between a good layer and one that's about to peel up.
