You ever notice how the universe lets you do something wrong for hours just to teach you a lesson at the very end? Like how I spent 20 minutes staring at the grocery store aisle before picking the wrong pasta shape for a recipe. Or how I assembled half a bookshelf before realizing I had the instructions upside down. We all seem to have this hidden talent for wasting time on details that end up not even mattering for the final result. Then you gotta either live with it or redo the whole thing, which feels like a punishment for being too stubborn to check twice.

Got to the point where I just take a photo of the recipe page with my phone before I even leave the house now. Saves me from standing there guessing for 10 minutes and still getting it wrong.
