42 outlets in my 1950s ranch and not one was grounded, that number still bugs me
Bought a cheap outlet tester at Harbor Freight and walked the whole house with a clipboard, tallied 42 outlets and every single one showed open ground. Ran a single 12 gauge ground wire from the panel to the first box in each room and daisy chained the rest, took a full weekend but the tester finally went green. Anyone else with old knob and tube ever try grounding just the kitchen circuits first or did you do the whole house at once?
