My Chromebook died at the library and I spent 2 hours locked out of my own stuff
I left my phone in my car last Tuesday at the downtown library in Boise and tried to log into my email on a public computer, but everything needed a code sent to the phone I could not reach. Turns out I had not saved backup codes since setting up 2 factor back in 2021, and I always thought that would never bite me. Does anyone keep those codes somewhere besides their phone, and if so where?
