Why does nobody talk about coworking spaces with actual quiet zones?
I've been bouncing around Southeast Asia for about 8 months now, and I keep seeing these hip coworking spots in Chiang Mai and Bali that are all about open layouts and 'community vibes.' Popular opinion seems to be that you need to be social and network everywhere you go. But I found that the real trick for getting work done was seeking out those boring, almost empty spaces that have a dedicated quiet floor or soundproof booths. I tried one in Kuala Lumpur that had a strict no-phone zone, and I finished a 3-day project in like 10 hours. Problem is, most places don't advertise those quiet sections because they want to sell the fun atmosphere. Has anyone else found a decent quiet coworking spot that actually helps you focus without people pitching you their startup?

Honestly I used to be one of those people who thought coworking spaces were all about meeting people and networking. Thought the whole point was being around other entrepreneurs and feeding off that energy. But after a few months of getting nothing done in those loud places I started hunting for the boring ones too. Found a spot in Ho Chi Minh that had a basement level with no talking allowed and it changed how I work completely. You're right that most places push the social side hard because it sounds cooler to sell. I think they miss the point that some of us just need a reliable quiet place to grind for a few hours.

@morgan915 what was the name of that place in Ho Chi Minh? I've been looking for a spot like that where you can actually work without someone trying to sell you their startup idea every fifteen minutes. Quiet basements with zero networking expectations are rare enough that they should have their own category.
