Last week in Chiang Mai I ditched my coworking pass for a park bench with a hotspot
Saved $120 in three days working under a tree near a 7-Eleven with free WiFi, but now my battery bank died and I'm stuck hunting for an outlet - anyone else found a cheap outdoor setup that actually works long term?

Oh man, I feel that pain. @morgan.charlie is right about needing more power, but I really get how good it feels to break free from those coworking passes. I've been there too - sitting in a park, thinking I'm saving so much money, and then my phone hits 15% and I'm begging random cafe staff for a corner plug. The battery bank dying is the worst part, especially when you're in the middle of something important. I hope you can find a shady spot near an outlet soon.

Battery bank died under a tree with a hotspot" is exactly where this whole dream falls apart. You need to level up to a cheap solar panel setup if you're serious about ditching outlets long term.
