Why does nobody talk about how useless those 'guaranteed SEO packages' are

I dropped $2,500 on a 3-month SEO package from a local agency in Phoenix that promised first page rankings. All I got was a bunch of generic blog posts and a dashboard full of fake metrics. Has anyone else gotten burned by these flat-rate SEO deals?

Did they actually show you the keywords in the search results or just hand you a screenshot of their dashboard?

Man I used to be the same way, I thought they were just showing off. But then I actually checked my own search results against their report and the keywords matched up. It was pretty eye opening to see where my site was actually ranking.
