Swapped my tablet stylus for a cheap one and my line work finally feels right
I spent 6 months fighting with a fancy pressure-sensitive pen that kept skipping on my Cintiq. Out of frustration I grabbed a $12 basic stylus from a local shop in Austin and the difference was night and day. The cheap one has a firmer tip and I don't overthink my strokes anymore, my sketches came out cleaner in one afternoon. Has anyone else found that simpler tools just click better for their digital art style?

The firmer tip thing is exactly what fixed it for me too. I went back to a basic square nib after my pro pen kept wobbling on fast strokes. Sometimes less tech means you actually trust your hand more.
