Spotting a digital art loop in a coffee shop window totally shifted my view

I used to only see still prints in places like that. Now moving pieces grab your eye and make the whole street feel like a gallery.

It's the same thing with those fake fireplaces on big TV screens in furniture stores. We're just surrounded by moving pictures now, aren't we? They're not just ads, they're trying to sell a whole vibe or a feeling. The coffee steam makes you want the warmth, the digital fire makes you want the cozy couch. It's all about setting a mood without saying a word. Makes you wonder what quiet little sales pitch you're walking past every day.

Saw one last week that just looped steam rising from a cup. Pretty sure it was just a fancy ad telling me to buy their overpriced latte.

Does that endless steam just trick our brains into craving warmth?
