My tablet driver crashed right before a client deadline
I was finishing a character illustration in Clip Studio Paint when my screen froze and the pen pressure stopped working. Had to restart everything and lost about an hour of work, which made me submit the file late. Anyone know a good backup driver or a way to stop this from happening again?

Oh man, that's the WORST feeling! My buddy had his tablet wig out during a huge project last month, lost a ton of line work. He ended up doing a clean install of the official Wacom driver and set CSP to auto-save every five minutes. He also runs a simple backup script now that copies his work folder every hour. Seems like overkill but he hasn't lost anything since.

Wait, does that backup script thing take long to set up? I mean, after what happened to @mark_smith59's buddy, I'm kinda tempted to try it. I just lost some sketches last week and it felt awful.

Ugh, does your tablet also wait for the worst possible moment to die? I feel that. Mark_smith59 has the right idea with the auto-save, I set mine to every two minutes after a similar meltdown. I also keep the old driver installer on my desktop just in case the new one gets fussy.
