My biggest digital art oops - 300 layers deep on a canvas

Last week I was working on a commission piece. Got about 300 layers into it. Then my tablet pen died mid-stroke. The auto-save failed somehow. Lost the whole thing. Had to start from scratch in 4 hours. Client was cool about it but I wanted to smash my monitor. Anyone else ever lose a massive file right before a deadline?

Wait did @leep89 actually say that or was it just in the thread? For real though just start stacking your bends in groups of ten so you can actually find stuff without pulling the whole shebang apart.
