Had to pick between a drawing tablet and an iPad for digital art

Went with the iPad after a friend said it worked better for her sketching on the go. Now I'm stuck figuring out Procreate layers vs. what I used in Photoshop.

Stuck in Procreate myself, but I hear you on Photoshop layers being easier.

Has anybody actually tried using Clip Studio Paint for this? I know it's mainly for manga and comics but the layer system is way more like Photoshop than Procreate. The way you can group layers and use layer masks is a game changer once you get used to it. I switched a few months back and honestly haven't looked at Procreate much since. It's not as popular for traditional painting but the layer management is top notch if that's what you're after. Your mileage may vary though, some people just click with Procreate's feel.
