Vent: I went with a reman turbo over a new one and I am second guessing the call
Last month I had a 2015 Ram 2500 in the bay with a blown turbo and the customer was staring down a $2,400 bill for a new one from the dealer. I talked him into a reman unit at $1,150 from a shop down in Houston that I have used twice before, and it bolted up clean with no core issues. Now I am wondering if I should have pushed harder for new on a truck that plows snow all winter, so what do you all lean toward when the customer is paying out of pocket?
