Hot take: Do diesel owners really want to know how their engine gets fixed?

Some mechanics think explaining repairs builds trust, but others say customers just want their truck back. I had a guy get annoyed when I detailed his fuel pump issue instead of hurrying up. Where do you all fall on this?

About that guy annoyed by the fuel pump detail, it depends on the owner. I like knowing what went wrong with my rig, but I get why some just want it fixed fast.

Wait people DON’T want to know what broke in their own car? That’s actually WILD to me.

Seriously, some folks just get overwhelmed by mechanic details.
