Had to swap a 6.7 Powerstroke turbo in a tight bay and tried two different wrench sets
The job was on a 2015 F-250 in our shop, and the upper bolts were a real pain to reach. First I tried my old standard length flex-head ratcheting wrenches, but they kept slipping off. Then I grabbed my coworker's set of extra-long, non-ratcheting wrenches he got from Matco. The extra length gave me way more control and torque, and I broke all four bolts loose in maybe ten minutes. Anyone else find that sometimes the simpler, longer tool is better for these cramped diesel jobs?

Man, that reminds me of the time I swore off stubby wrenches for good after fighting a starter bolt.

Wait, you gave up on stubby wrenches completely? That's a pretty big move, @alex_hall91... I get they can be a pain in tight spots, but sometimes they're the only thing that fits. I'd probably just keep one in the bottom of the toolbox for emergencies.
