Dealing with all these new diesel computers makes me want to pull my hair out.

I swear, half the time the issue is a glitch, not a broken part. We're creating more problems than we're solving with all this tech.

My old truck's computer glitches so much I've named it after my ex.

Yeah, tell me about it. Last week my buddy's diesel rig kept shutting off for no reason, and after two days of trying to fix it, it just needed a software update, lmao. @taras35 naming it after your ex is spot on because it acts up just when you don't expect it. These things seem to have a mind of their own. Now we're stuck playing tech support more than mechanics.

Disagree on the software update thing being a bad sign. My rig's last update fixed a bunch of random idle issues and it's been solid since. Sometimes the computer just needs to learn, like a new recruit. @taras35, at least your ex-truck probably tells you the error code instead of just giving you the silent treatment. I'd take a finicky computer over a mystery mechanical problem any day, because you can actually diagnose it.
