A kid at the parts counter said 'torque it till it strips, then back it off' and I almost walked out
Stopped at the Cummins dealer in Tulsa this morning and this 20 year old counter guy told me that about oil drain plugs, like it was a real trick. I laughed out loud before realizing he was dead serious. How do you handle the new guys who get their diesel advice from TikTok instead of a service manual?
