IaC pipeline beats click ops every time, fight me

I watched our team spend 3 hours hand-provisioning a staging env last Thursday while my Terraform module spun up the same thing in 11 minutes from a PR merge. Has anyone else gone back to the console after being burned by a broken tf state, or do you just commit to the code path no matter what?
