IaC drift silently deleted my staging env and I only noticed via a ticket

Tried a new pipeline that auto-purged stale Terraform resources at 2am, turns out the 'stale' check didn't account for our long-running integration tests. Woke up to three failed test suites and a support ticket from QA asking where the whole environment went. Anyone else had a cleanup cronjob nuke something important?
