Why I stopped hiring low bid commercial cleaners for my shop on Gratiot
Everyone in the building owners group says take the cheapest janitorial bid, and I did that for two contracts until a crew left standing water in my warehouse on Gratiot and a pallet of cardboard got ruined, cost me around $1,800. The cheap price hid no insurance and no real supervisor, just a van and a guy with a mop. Paying a few hundred more a month for a company that actually carries liability coverage and walks the site with me has been worth it. Anyone else get burned by a bargain cleaning contract in Detroit?
