Why does nobody warn you that a $12 flat rate LLC filing service beats a $400 Detroit lawyer for simple stuff
Last month I needed to file a basic LLC for a small commercial cleaning side gig here in Detroit and almost paid a downtown lawyer $400 plus fees to do it. I ended up using a $12 online filing service instead and got my paperwork back from the state in 6 business days with zero problems. Has anyone else here done the cheap route for simple commercial filings, or am I missing something a lawyer actually covers that I should worry about?

Heard most LLCs don't need a lawyer anyway.
