Booked a $600 deep clean for a Detroit Ave storefront and they only hit half the vents
Hired a commercial crew out of Warren last month for $600 to do a full deep clean on a 2,000 sq ft retail space on Michigan Ave. They spent 4 hours on the floors and windows but skipped most of the ceiling vents and the back stockroom entirely, said that wasn't part of the quote even though I showed them the checklist upfront. Anyone else had a Detroit area cleaning outfit nickle and dime you on scope after the fact?

Did they count the vents with their eyes closed or something? $600 for a "deep clean" and they skipped the stockroom is like paying for a full tank of gas and getting three quarters. I would've lost my mind watching them pack up while the back room still looked like a tornado hit it. Showing them the checklist upfront and still getting the "not in the quote" line is wild, that's just them hoping you wouldn't push back. Next time make them sign the checklist before they even unload the truck, or hold back part of the pay until every vent gets hit.
