Trying to fix a wobbly ceiling fan took my whole Sunday afternoon
Thought it was just a loose blade, but the whole mounting bracket was off. Spent 4 hours with a step ladder and a socket set I had to borrow from my neighbor. Anyone have a faster method for balancing one of these things?

Ever try one of those balancing kits? I hear they work but seems like a lot of fuss.

That socket set was probably overkill for most of it. A simple screwdriver and an adjustable wrench would have handled the bracket. Next time, try a balancing kit from the hardware store, it clips weights right onto the blades.
