Should I warn my brother about this Costco chicken salad I got in Irving?
So I grabbed a rotisserie chicken salad from the Costco on 183 in Irving last Friday, thinking it was a quick lunch. Ate about half of it around noon, and by 4 PM I was in bad shape, and I mean doubled over in the bathroom bad. Turns out the sell by date was that same day and the container felt a little warm in the back of the cooler. I'm not blaming Costco yet since it could just be me, but should I call the store and tell them, or just toss it and move on?
That "it could just be me" part is doing a lot of work there, man. You don't go from fine to doubled over in four hours from nothing, so at least give the store a call and let them check that cooler.
