My neighbor in apartment 4B said I should stop asking 'should I' and just pick the thing that feels less bad.

We were talking about whether I should get a haircut this weekend or next, and he told me he makes choices by picking the option he'll regret the least. It hit different because I always get stuck trying to find the 'right' answer. Has anyone else tried this method for small daily stuff?

Doesn't @nancy824's sandwich rule just prove most choices are between two kinds of fine?

Totally get what your neighbor means. I used to freeze up over tiny choices like what to eat for lunch. Now I just ask myself which sandwich I'd be less annoyed about eating. It sounds silly but it works. Why do we put so much pressure on every little thing? Your neighbor is onto something.
