Man it's SO true. We toss things without even THINKING about it. Grandpa's generation had to fix everything cause they couldn't just buy new.

Yeah, my friend's old man still has a toaster from the 80s that he fixed like 12 times lol. He literally took it apart and rewired it himself last month when it started sparking. Meanwhile, my friend threw out a perfectly good blender last week just because the lid cracked. His dad was like, "You could've just glued it!" and my friend just shrugged. It's wild how different their brains work when something breaks. The old dude sees a project, we just see a chore.
