The Target cashier who asked if I was okay after I bought $87 of snacks at 9am

I was grabbing stuff for a road trip with my sister and this older lady at the register in the Plano store says "you having a rough morning, sweetheart?" and I didn't know if I should laugh or be offended, has anyone else had a stranger read their shopping cart like a diary?
