My local Best Buy actually improved after the Geek Squad change

I know everyone hates on the new queue system they rolled out in 2024, but the one on El Camino in Santa Clara got way better. Before, you'd wait 20 minutes for someone who knew nothing about the product. Now they send you a text with a specific agent's name, and I had a guy named Marcus actually explain the return policy on a $600 open-box TV, no upselling. Maybe it's just that location, but has anyone else seen a store get more helpful after a corporate restructure?

Blue polo guy sounds like a retired mall cop with a hobby.

That El Camino store is a weird anomaly, I swear. The one in Daly City still looks like a bomb went off in the accessories aisle, but I stopped by yours last month to grab a new router and some guy in a blue polo just walked me to the shelf and told me which one to avoid because of a firmware bug. He even wrote down the model number on a receipt so I wouldn't forget. Maybe they're finally paying people enough to care, or maybe Marcus is just a superhuman... I'd drive the extra 20 miles just to talk to him again, but I don't want to make it weird.
