Remember when writing prompts were just a list in the back of a magazine?
Back in 2012, I had to pick between sticking with my old notebook of random ideas or trying a dedicated prompt app, and I went with the app (it was called 'Promptly', I think). It totally changed how I start my writing sessions, making it way easier to just jump in. What was the first tool or method that really got you using prompts regularly?

Wasn't the old notebook way more personal and less distracting than any app?

My first real prompt tool was a beat up composition book from 2008. @sandragonzalez is right about the personal touch, but my handwriting is so bad I'd spend more time trying to decode my own ideas than writing.
