Ran my boom out 60 feet before leveling the truck and wondered why the chart felt off
Was on a rooftop HVAC swap in Fort Worth last Tuesday and something felt weird the whole morning, the boom just seemed to fight me on every swing. Took a break and walked around the truck and saw my outrigger pads were sinking maybe two inches into that soft gravel on the passenger side. Never checked the bubble after I set up because I was rushing to beat the lunch rush on the street. Reloaded the pads on some 4x4 cribbing and the whole rig felt like a different machine. How often do you all re-check level after the first pick, or is that just me being sloppy?
