TIL that you should section wet hair with a wide tooth comb, not a fine one, and my blowouts finally stopped frizzing
I took a continuing ed class in Portland last month and the teacher spent 20 minutes just on detangling. She said a fine tooth comb on wet hair stretches the strand and roughs up the cuticle, which is why so many of my clients complained about frizz two days later. I tried it on a bride trial this past weekend, wide tooth comb only through damp hair, and her blowout looked like glass. I always thought it was my dryer or the products. Anyone else get taught the opposite in school?
