Old stylist in Dallas warned me about a popular haircut trend

A senior stylist named Carol at my salon told me last year that the whole "curtain bangs" trend was going to cause a lot of frustrated clients. She said most people don't have the right face shape or hair texture for them to look good without daily styling. Well, I've done maybe 15 of those cuts this month alone and about 10 clients have come back upset that they don't look like the photos. Has anyone else seen a big uptick in clients wanting reversals on trendy cuts?

Well bless Carol's heart for trying to warn everyone, because now we've got a bunch of folks walking around looking like they lost a fight with a pair of sheep shears. It's the same cycle we see every couple years - someone with perfect hair and a professional stylist makes something look effortless, and suddenly everyone thinks they can wake up and have that look too. You'd think by now people would learn that if a haircut requires a 20 minute blowout just to leave the house, maybe it's not the shortcut to effortless beauty they're looking for.
