My big mistake with that online color correction class

I saw an ad for a color correction course last fall, it was all over my feed. The teacher had a huge following and promised to show her 'secret formulas' for fixing any color mess. I paid $297 for it, thinking it would be a good step up. The videos were just her talking for hours, no real hands-on demos. The 'formulas' were basic stuff I learned in beauty school, like using a green base for redness. I felt so dumb for falling for the hype. The worst part was she never answered any questions in the group forum. Has anyone found a good, honest class for advanced corrective color that's actually worth the money?

Ugh, that's so frustrating and I've been there. When they say "secret formulas," does it ever actually mean anything new? I'm curious, did the course description or sales page give any hint it would be more theory than hands-on, or was it totally misleading?

You know, I used to roll my eyes at "secret formulas" too, figuring it was just a sales trick. But this course actually changed my mind. They showed a simple three-step checklist for editing sales pages, stuff I'd never put together before. It wasn't magic, but it was a clear system that actually worked, which was new for me. The sales page did hint at frameworks, so I guess I should have seen it coming.
