Chose a $400 clipper over the $180 one and now I'm second guessing myself
Client came in with a grown out fade last Tuesday and I had to grab a new clipper after mine died, so I stood in the supply shop for 20 minutes staring at a Wahl Senior and a cheaper Andis. Went with the Wahl and honestly the blade cut smoother but it runs hotter than I expected after 3 fades in a row. Anyone else notice that or did I just get a weird unit?

Wahl Seniors always run hot, that's just how they are. It's the motor, not a bad unit. Mine does the same after a few cuts and it's never caused a problem.
