That gas station nacho cheese in Tulsa nearly did me in
Stopped at a busy QuikTrip off I-44 around 9pm last Thursday and grabbed their nacho cheese from the pump station. It looked fine but tasted kinda sweet and off, then two hours later I was stuck in a rest area bathroom for the night. Checked the pump later and the temp gauge read 118 degrees, way above the 140 rule for holding cheese. I used to trust those self-serve warmers everywhere, now I only buy sealed cups or bring my own. Has anyone else had a bad run with gas station nacho cheese, or am I the only one who got burned?
