Spent $22 on birthday cake ice cream with pop rocks in it, half my friends say it's genius and half say it's a crime
I grabbed a pint of cake batter ice cream with pop rocks mixed in at the grocery store last Friday and brought it to game night, and we spent 20 minutes arguing about whether the popping texture ruins a perfectly good scoop. Some people say it's like eating dessert with sand in it, others say the little crackles make it fun and they went back for seconds. Read that pop rocks actually release carbon dioxide when they hit moisture, so it's basically fizzy ice cream.
