Pretzel sticks ruined my soup at work today
I brought that cup noodle soup to the break room and grabbed a handful of pretzel sticks to dip in. They went soggy in like 30 seconds and left weird salty crumbs floating around, and now everyone thinks I'm weird for even trying it. But honestly, crunchy stuff in soup is good if you do it right, like croutons or fried onions. Am I the only one who thinks pretzels just don't belong anywhere near broth, or is there a trick I'm missing?

Honestly I used to be all about salty crunchy things in soup, but pretzel sticks are just wrong. They soak up liquid way too fast and turn into this weird paste that messes up the whole broth. Maybe stick to something sturdier like croutons, because pretzels are only good when theyre dry and you can snap them.
