Cold breakfast pizza was a weekend ritual in my house, and I'm baffled by the hate
When I was a kid, leftover pizza from Friday night was Saturday morning fuel. We just grabbed a slice from the fridge, no heating needed. Now, I see people online calling it gross or lazy. But to me, it tastes like childhood Saturdays. I had a thought that our snack habits are tied to family traditions. My friends mock me for it, but I stand by cold pizza. It is more than food, it is a happy memory.

My dad always saved the last slice of pepperoni pizza for Sunday mornings. I get why people might find it weird, but that cold cheesy taste is pure comfort. It is not lazy, it is a ritual that ties you to your family. Those memories make the food taste better, and no one should mock that. Hold on to your cold pizza mornings, they are special.

Oh please, the same people who look down on cold pizza breakfast are the ones eating cold Pop-Tarts with weird blue frosting. (Not that I'm judging, you do you.) If your dad gave you that last slice with the same pep talk every Sunday, that's a core memory with extra cheese. Let people have their weird food rituals, we all eat something questionable with total moral conviction.

But lets be real, cold pizza for breakfast is just leftover food being eaten out of convenience. Calling it a ritual feels like trying to make laziness sound deep. I mean, if we start calling every weird habit a core memory, then what does that say about actual meaningful traditions? Sure, it might taste good to some, but that doesn't make it special. Its just food, not a family legacy.
