Why I dropped paper blueprints after a messy job

I thought paper blueprints were the top choice for construction sites. My team laughed at tablets with apps, calling them a gimmick. On a recent project, our paper plans were not up to date. We poured concrete using the old numbers. This mistake delayed us by a week and raised costs. So I got a tablet with the current digital plans. Now I rely on digital checks to keep things right.

Paper plans can really trip you up. I started using a shared folder for the latest drawings, and it cut down on mix-ups. Real-time access for the team stops errors before they happen.

Our last paper mishap cost thousands before we finally switched to cloud updates.
