Wait, are you saying the drone footage clearly showed sinkholes that people on the ground missed? That's pretty wild. But who's reading that drone data? A person still has to look at it and make the call, right. So is the problem the tech, or the person interpreting the tech?

Remember reading about thermal drones spotting ground sinking before it breaks the surface? Some report showed how they see tiny temperature changes in the soil that our eyes just miss. It's not always about someone not looking hard enough at the pictures. The drone picks up a different kind of data, like a heat map of trouble spots. So maybe it's not the person or the tech alone, but using the right tool to see what's literally hidden.
