My site boss hated tech until I proved him wrong with a simple app
Honestly, he used to yell about phones on site and stick to paper logs. Tbh, I sneaked in a free project tracker app during a slow week. We started logging material deliveries right from our phones, no more lost sheets. Ngl, he saw how fast we caught a delay and now he asks for app updates. It cut our morning meeting time down a lot.

Was there a specific moment when he finally got it? Tbh, that shift from yelling to asking for updates is classic. People hold onto old ways until they see the fix right in front of them. It's not about tech being fancy, it's about solving a daily pain point. Once that clicks, there's no going back.

That shift from hating tech to asking for updates is so real. @the_ryan is right about results winning bosses over, and it goes way beyond work. You see it with people who refuse smart home stuff until they try a light that turns off by voice. They just need to see the actual fix for their own problem before they let go of the old way.
