Guy running the excavator in Bakersfield told me his Trimble GPS was 'just for show' while he eyeballed a 200 foot trench
Watched him cut grade within a tenth on that whole run using nothing but a laser and a story pole, then he said the GPS unit had been throwing a calibration error since Tuesday and he was tired of waiting on the dealer.
