Blew $700 on a fancy drone for site surveys and it barely flies straight

I dropped $700 on a high-end drone last month just for measuring cut and fill on our job in Phoenix. The thing drifts sideways every time I try to hover it, and customer support just sends me to YouTube videos. Anyone else get burned by overhyped construction drone gear?

Buddy of mine bought the same kind of thing for grading jobs and it kept drifting into a tree on day three. Ended up just using his old phone on a stick for photos instead.

Bring it back to the store and swap it for a DJI Mini 4 Pro if you can. Those cheap survey drones are just rebranded junk with a big mark up.
