A field engineer's note on BIM markup changed my whole review process

Last month, a guy from the site said my model markups were 'too clean to be useful' and that I should add more context about real-world clashes. Now I jot down the exact stud height and wire run location on every sheet, not just the issue. Has anyone else found that adding rough field notes to digital models saves them a call back to the site?

Man, that hits home! I started doing the same thing after a superintendent basically told me my clash reports were useless without knowing which side of the beam the pipe actually ran. Now I just snap a photo of the rough-in and paste it right into the model view, saves me a whole day of phone tag next time something changes on site.
