Told my uncle his moon landing 'proof' was wrong, and he actually agreed with me
My uncle has been sending me moon landing hoax videos for about 2 years now, so last month I finally sat down and watched one all the way through with him. I pulled up the actual Apollo 11 transcript and the NASA photo archive on my laptop and we went through 3 of his biggest claims one by one. He went quiet for a bit, then said 'well I'll be damned' and admitted the shadow thing was just the terrain. I didn't win the whole debate, he still thinks the Van Allen belts are suspect, but it was the first time we talked about this stuff without yelling. Has anyone else gotten a family member to move even a little on a conspiracy they were deep into, and how did you do it?
