Can we talk about whether ordering pump trucks is worth the extra cost?

I was reading a job cost breakdown from a crew in Cincinnati and they showed that using a pump truck added about $400 to a medium driveway pour versus wheelbarrowing it from the chute. Some guys swear the pump saves labor and time but others say it just adds a headache with cleanup and setup. What do you all figure, is the extra cash worth it or are we just wasting money?
