Took me about 2 years to finally try a used server rack from a local shop in Phoenix

I always thought buying used gear was just asking for trouble with hidden failures. Last month I needed a 42U rack for a home lab setup and a guy at Phoenix Tech Surplus talked me through their testing process. They actually run a full load test and check every fan before selling. Has anyone else had good luck with a specific used equipment place?

Phoenix Tech Surplus is solid, I've grabbed a few things from there. They actually let me test a power supply on the spot before I bought it which saved me from a dud. Check any used place that does a burn-in test for at least 24 hours before you commit, that usually weeds out the bad caps or noisy fans.
