Honestly, that $400 logic analyzer was overkill, my $25 one does the same job
Tbh I see techs on here always pushing high end gear for board work. Bought a Saleae clone for $25 off Amazon last spring thinking it would be junk. Ended up using it to trace a SPI bus on a dead router board and it worked perfect. My buddy swore I needed the $400 name brand, but the cheap one caught the bad solder joint in 10 minutes. Ngl, I wasted cash on a fancy rework station once, that burned me way harder. Anyone else find budget tools that just work for basic signal work?
