That Tuesday morning my bus decided to play hide and seek in Portland
So my 7:15 AM #15 bus just never showed up yesterday, no app warning, no sign at the stop. I waited 40 minutes in the rain and then a full 12 got there, packed like sardines. The driver told me the earlier bus had a tire blowout near the Steel Bridge, so he was running a reroute that skipped four stops. I ended up sprinting six blocks to catch the MAX and still made it to work only 10 minutes late. Has anyone else had a phantom bus just vanish like that and how do you deal with the schedule chaos afterwards?
